In the Moll Marzipan GmbH, a company with long tradition, marzipan and other treats are made out of an annual amount of over 7.000 t almonds and apricot stones. A new blanching facility spares the raw materials and thereby improves the final product. The new plant reduces the annual energy and water costs by 70,000 Euros. Additionally, an ultramodern and exactly dispensing deep fryer increases the quality of the product by applying an efficient recycling cycle. Thereby over the half of the used sunflower oil can be saved – saving another 50,000 Euros per year.
